The chemistry and moments shared on screen by Saurabh and Ela truly capture the audience’s hearts. Whether they are smoking joints or discussing their feelings, their bond is the strongest among the entire cast. Their character development is impressive, and Divyenndu and Monica are perfectly suited for their roles. On the other hand, Gunjan, played by Gauahar Khan, comes across as a complex character who disappoints early in the story.

Salt City presents itself as a brilliant story about how patriarchy and lack of communication impact a family and how a toxic patriarch can deeply affect the self-esteem and expression of those around him. However, it is difficult to connect with the mostly one-dimensional characters in the series.
