Qutub Minar is a monument in Delhi, India. It was built by Qutb-ud-din Aibak, the first Muslim ruler of the Delhi Sultanate. The structure has four minarets and a large dome that covers an area of about 500 m2. The tower has been described as “a magnificent piece of architecture” and “one of the most significant architectural monuments in India.” The tower has been listed as UNESCO’s World Heritage Site since 1983 and is also a National Monument of India.
